Three Different Indigestion Tablets

WS "Amleto". Tradutore: Goffredo Raponi

To be or not to be ...
this is the crux: whether it is more noble soul
endure the slings and
the barbs of an outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against
a sea of troubles, And by opposing end them
.
die ... sleep, nothing more.
and by a sleep to say we end
the pangs of the heart and the thousand natural evils
that inherits from the meat. This is the conclusion

we hope that with clasped hands.
die ... to sleep, dream and then, maybe ...
Yeah, but here it conquers the mind: why

in that sleep of death what dreams may come, when we had shaken off

from our annoying housing ?
's the thought that has to stop.
is the question that is so long-lived
our living in such misery.
If not, who s'indurrebbe
bear the whips and the ills of life,
the oppression of tyrants,
the pompous language of the proud,
the pains of love despised,
the impediments to enforce laws,
the arrogance of public authority, the insults made by undeserving

on the patient,
when a man, by his own hand, at a stroke
could sign immediately to the life
acquittal on the blade of a dagger? And who wants to lug

these burdens,
grunt and sweat under the weight of wretched existence,
if the fear of something after death
- that region dark, unexplored, from whose borders

that there is no traveler returns - not intrigued
both the will to lead us to bear those ills we have already
,
rather than fly, the afterlife, and other evils
meeting strangers?
And so that our conscience does make cowards of us
, so that fades to pale cast of thought

the native hue of courage,
And enterprises of great moment,
on account of this,
you astray and lose the name of the action.
(see Ofelia)
But hush now! ... The fair Ophelia!
Nymph, in thy remembrance prayers
siano i miei peccati.
